Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Brittany Metoyer
Dr. Brittany Metoyer Dorn earned her Bachelor of Science with a minor in Chemistry from Elmhurst College in 2013, followed by her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2019. Since entering practice, she has focused her clinical energy on the technical challenges of soft tissue surgery and the compassionate complexities of end-of-life care, ensuring her patients receive the highest standard of comfort and dignity.
A firm believer in the power of the human-animal bond, Dr. Metoyer Dorn experienced that connection firsthand when she met her dog, Clyde, while helping at the City of Aurora Animal Shelter. It was love at first sight. That same dedication to the welfare of every animal she treats remains at the heart of her work today.
When she’s not at the clinic, Dr. Metoyer Dorn enjoys traveling and listening to live music. She often attends concerts or gets lost in a gripping thriller novel. At home, she enjoys gardening and tending to her collection of houseplants, but she is happiest spending time with her husband, Tom, their two children, Paul and Evelyn, and of course, Clyde.
