Dr. Metoyer started working for Oswego Animal Hospital in 2019. She attended Elmhurst College and acquired her Bachelor of Science degree in 2013. She then continued her education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and obtained her Doctoral degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2019. Internal medicine and soft tissue surgery are two things that she has a particular interest in. One thing Dr. Metoyer loves about Oswego Animal Hospital is the camaraderie between her fellow doctors and seeing all of the strong friendships formed by the staff.  

When Dr. Metoyer isn’t in the hospital, you can find her checking out local breweries, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Tom, and her son, Paul. One more family member she has is Clyde, a cockapoo and Staffordshire terrier mix. The two connected and knew they had to be together when she saw him at Aurora Animal Care and Control. She grew up around beagles but having Clyde is her favorite thing!
