Managing Veterinarian
Dr. Elise Hall
Dr. Hall has been with Oswego Animal Hospital since 2015. She attended the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Prior to veterinary school, she also attended the University of Illinois for her undergraduate degree, studying Integrative Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Hall loves that general practice has many diverse specialties she can dive into, but she especially has an interest in soft tissue surgery, cytology, and ophthalmology. She also enjoys shelter medicine, working to provide rescue animals with the best care possible while searching for their forever homes.
When Dr. Hall isn’t a superhero for animals, she is hiking, gardening, or spending time with family and friends, both humans and animals alike! Her adopted furry, or scaled, family members are a big group! She has RuPaul, the bearded dragon; Mowgli, the Rottweiler; Appa, the Selkirk Rex cat; Lu, who is a mixed breed; and Briar, the German Shepherd. When asked what her favorite aspects are about working at Oswego Animal Hospital, Dr. Hall appreciates the uniqueness of each case and the challenges each individual patient presents. She also enjoys the special team approaches our entire staff takes to give our patients the best care we can offer.
