Dr. Natalie Waclawik

Dr. Waclawik joined Oswego Animal Hospital in 2019. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine after completing her Bachelor’s degree at Illinois State University. She has a particular interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.

Her favorite aspect of working at Oswego Animal Hospital is the camaraderie and teamwork that everyone brings to the hospital. She enjoys working alongside her colleagues to provide the best possible care for her patients and their families.

Dr. Waclawik is a devoted pet owner and has two cats and two dogs at home. Her female tabby cat, Tiger Lily, was adopted while she was in veterinary school in St. Kitts. Her male orange Domestic Longhair, Hero, was adopted from Aurora Animal Control. Hero suffered from a severe infection in his left forelimb as a young cat, requiring amputation. He has since lived a happy, healthy life and has never let his missing limb slow him down.

Her two dogs, Reese and Marshall, also hold a special place in her heart. Reese is a female Pitbull mix who was adopted as a puppy from the Hinsdale Humane Society. Marshall is a male Pitbull who was adopted as a young adult from Aurora Animal Control after suffering a broken leg. Dr. Waclawik surgically repaired his leg, and after developing a special bond with him during his recovery, she simply couldn’t give him up!

When she is not caring for her patients, Dr. Waclawik enjoys snowboarding, hiking, traveling, and kayaking. A fun fact about Dr. Waclawik is that she is bilingual and speaks Polish.
